All schools of the Archdiocese are required to test third, fifth and seventh graders each year. At St. Lucy Parish Catholic School, the Iowa Test of Basic Skills is given to third, fourth, fifth, sixth and seventh graders in the spring. With the results of this test, teachers are guided in evaluating the student’s scholastic progress.
The Cognitive and Abilities Test is given in conjunction with the achievement test to third, fifth and seventh graders. This test measures the ability of the student.
